VOID TECHNOLOGIES
The DoubleVOID Technology includes 2 colors within the VOID-effect. This technology is basic and indicates any opening attempt with striking opening effects. Upon peeling and removal, a previously not visible pattern, symbol, or text appears. Double VOID effects can be integrated into translucent or opaque labels and are often used by the pharma industry or for technical parts.

TripleVOID is a technical expansion of the DoubleVOID technology. The opening effect contains 3 colors and thus, it surprises with especially striking effects. It may be used not only for protection of a packaging’s integrity, but also as an overt security feature.

Counterfeiters have developed many methods to remove labels from packages unnoticed. One popular method is soaking the labels in liquid to weaken the adhesive. This is where WashVOID technology comes in. The integrated wash color triggers on contact with liquid and any attempt of tampering with liquids become visible. This technology is used in high-risk environments to deter criminal activities such as peeling by soaking to recapture intact security seals.

Packaging is sometimes quite small and packed with a lot of information. This often leaves little space for a label. To meet this challenge, we have developed TranslucentVOIDs that leave the text below the label visible. This technology is often used for pharmaceuticals.

Vienna VOID describes a special label construction that is made of two film layers. The ViennaVOID technology is used when a concealed code needs to be easily accessible, yet securely protected against undetected access or removal. The VOID effect is triggered no whether if the top layer to access the code is removed or if the whole label is removed.

The TRACELESS VOID Technology allows the label to be removed from the product or packaging without leaving residues. This technology is used for luxury products where the high-end packaging should not be affected by residues. The VOID effect is triggered within the layers of the label. 

DryPeel Labels on cosmetic products
DryPeel Seals provide a distinct opening indication although they can be peeled off without leaving traces.
Our VOID seals provide a unique proof of opening that cannot be undone. This makes it immediately apparent whether a package or product has already been opened. Our tamper-evident seals meet the highest standards and are thus also in use in the highly sensitive pharmaceutical industry. To make a positive contribution to the circular economy, we have created our PaperVOID series for packaging made of paper or cardboard. These paper-based security labels are made from the same raw material as the packaging and can therefore be recycled together.
