The company building of Securikett, located in Münchendorf, Lower Austria, was constructed according to the latest standards and with special attention to flood protection measures. Due to the careful planning and construction, there is no risk to production or ongoing operations.
During the construction phase in 2017, potential risks such as flooding were already taken into account, and appropriate measures were implemented to ensure the long-term safety and functionality of the facility. This includes the entire site, including storage halls, being built 20 cm higher than usual to mitigate possible flooding events and protect the infrastructure. Additionally, the building was constructed outside of the 300-year flood line. The operation is secure and fully ensured even under extreme weather conditions.
